Today we re-read the article about Polar Bears and used the graphic organizer to re-write in paragraphs to see how it all goes together to create a finished piece of persuasive writing:

Today a new Article about Climate Change came home in your child's home communication folder. Please read it with them and feel free to underline or highlight 2 reasons and 2 examples (one to back up each reason) so that next week we have a new article to do Persuasive Writing on.
Arctic StoryBoard Solutions:
Today we worked on finishing our problem. Our problem in our story is a problem that would be created by climate change in the Arctic. We also talked about our first solution. Our first solution DOES NOT WORK so we talked today about how it can be funny or a bit silly. Ask me what my first solution is going to be and why it doesn't work?
