Mrs. Lagrana's class has no volunteers for our first day of Artist in Residence this upcoming Monday from October 23 from 10:45-11:45. It will make your child's learning experience so much richer if we ensure we have adequate adult helpers to make sure everything runs smoothly. Please email imlagrana@cbe.ab.ca if you can make it in.
Math
Today we counted our object totals again. This time we made packs of ten and loose and recorded our numbers on a chart in order to help us explain our total. We put a picture and a comment about what we learned, how we were counting and what our total was on IRIS. Please have me show you my work in IRIS over the weekend.

The Community of Calgary
Today we continued looking at the Community of Calgary. We looked at a picture of our city and looked at the clues in the picture that would help us know which part was URBAN, which part was SUBURBAN and which part was RURAL.
