Sports Day Reminder!

Sports Day - Thursday afternoon students at Royal Oak School will be participating in our annual Sports Day. Our theme for this year will be 'Your Favourite Sports' so we are asking students to wear a jersey of their favourite sports team or a t-shirt with their favourite sport on it for that day. We are also encouraging all students to bring a water bottle. After our events in the afternoon students will be treated to a snack of watermelon provided by parent council.  

You can also wear your own Jersey or Uniform from an activity or sport that you participate in

Hello parents!  What a gorgeous week it promises to be, and a fabulous day for our upcoming Sports Day at the school on Thursday!  We would love to see a sea of Royal Oak Blue on our students for this fun day.  Royal Oak School Fundraising Society has a limited number of all sizes of tshirts and hoodies still available.  Perhaps you ordered a hoodie, but now your child would like to have a tshirt for Sports Day?  Or maybe they have a tshirt, but those cool morning bike rides to school are begging for a hoodie!   Royal Oak School Spirit Wear Order Form ONGOING.pdf  If you would like to order an additional tshirt or hoodie for your child, or even for yourself (my husband will be wearing his tshirt to volunteer on Thursday!), please send in your order as soon as possible.  We will go in on Wednesday and distribute any orders, so your children will have them to wear on Thursday.  Note, Royal Oak Spirit Wear is NOT mandatory for any student to have, it is simply a fun way to show school spirit for our awesome school! Please find the order form attached, to be printed and sent in with payment.  Thank you. ​​​​​​​ALSO, Royal Oak School Fundraising Society is meeting this Wednesday, May 31st at 7pm at Cafe Fresco to plan our 2017/2018 School Year.  We will be looking at setting up a fundraising calendar for the year.  If you would like to help us plan, have a proposal or idea for us, or would just like to be informed, please join us!  We would love to have you!  Please note, you do not need to be available to volunteer with us on an ongoing basis in order to join us on Wednesday evening.  Of course, we would however LOVE to have you join us next year!   Wishing you a sun filled, glorious week.  Thank you again for your ongoing support!
