Grade 3 Farewell, BBQ and Scaredy Squirrel Emergency Kits!

Today we said goodbye to the grade three students of Royal Oak School. They will be making new school adventures and learning experience in Middle School. 

REMINDER: Tomorrow is the last day of school until September 5, 2017. 


The year end BBQ was so much fun and thankfully the rain stayed away! 





Today we watched the Scaredy Squirrel Public Service Announcement (preview) about "Scaredy Squirrel Prepares for Halloween". He always makes many plans, charts, maps and diagrams in his stories.

Today we completed our emergency plan writing based on Scaredy Squirrel's plan writing. It is always good to be prepared. Ask me about my emergency planning suitcase for summer holidays!

Today in math we practiced subtraction stacking and checking our subtraction answers by adding to see see if we had a balanced equation.
