Designing My Boat:

Today we talked about many different types of boats and their purpose. 

We had to think about what materials we would use and how we are going to put our boat together:

Many of the students have already brought in their materials for building. We START building tomorrow so if you have not sent in any please see what you might have around your home based on what your child is thinking. We have:
popsicle sticks
toothpicks
string
tape
saran wrap
plastic bags
wax paper
tinfoil
rubber bands
Straws

But if your child wants a pop bottle cut, a container like a Tropicana or milk carton cut, or specific things such as balloons or paddles that needs to be sent in from home.
