This week in Literacy we have been practicing summarizing and Finding the Main Idea:

We have been practicing reading different non-fiction articles about water and then SUMMARIZING the important parts to figure out the MAIN IDEA. 



Exploring Water and States of Matter

We continue to explore water and states of matter.

Investigating the Arctic

Today we started looking at the Canadian Arctic. We will be studying the Arctic and looking at the people, the land, the stories, the climate, and the animals.

Today we looked at a map of Canada and looked for where the Arctic and the Arctic Ocean are.

Tomorrow we will look closer and find the Province and the Capital City of this part of Canada.
