We have been talking about the Winter Olympics and what the different Winter Sports are. We might want to watch some of these events over the weekend.
REMINDER:
Royal Oak School is excited that the Winter Olympics are finally here! To celebrate the start of the Olympics and the opening ceremonies we are asking that on Friday students wear red or team Canada clothing to show their support to our amazing athletes competing in Pyeong Chang. Go Team Canada!!!

Today we looked at Slide 7: Problems Facing the Polar Bear/Seal. We were challenged (if we finished all of our article and adding in the points we wanted on our slideshow to then add a video link about the problem. We talked about Digital Citizenship and making sure we are only searching for appropriate things for our research.
Tomorrow we will create SLIDE 8: SOLUTIONS: HOW WE CAN HELP!!
Today we watched an Inuit story called "The Polar Bear Son".
