Place value doubles strategy:
Today, we used logic and reasoning such as "If I know, then I know" to solve doubles + one.
"If I know 14+14= 28, then I know 14+15 must equal 29 because I see that as one more than 28."

Today we conducted an experiment about Absorbency. Ask me what my sponge did with the water? We discussed making a hypothesis and drawing a scientific diagram with labels. Ask me how I think the sponge was able to hold all that water. Would this work with other liquids?
