THE SLIPPER: A DISTINCTLY CALGARIAN CINDERELLA STORY
Royal Oak School is collecting new items for Stephen’s Backpacks. Our goal is to fill 100 backpacks for children this Christmas. Donations of new items such as mittens, hats, socks, small toys, craft things, toothbrushes, books are being accepted. Donations can be sent to school with your child and they will be put under the Christmas tree in the gathering space. Thank you for your support.

-One of our Open Number Line strategies involves being able to add (skip-count) by tens, starting at any number to 100.
-I have identified this as an area of growth for most students.

Today in gym we practiced our basket ball shots.
We finished a new pioneer journal reflection about the slide. Ask me what I imagined I was feeling, seeing, smelling on the morning of the slide, on April 29th, 1903 at 4:10 AM.
We finished reading Keeley. Ask me about the ending and how I felt about it.
Today we got to begin our boat building. Ask me how my boat is coming along and how I think that it will do when we test it?
