Welcome to the first day of Grade 2!

Reminder: Today I will be bringing home 2 notices in my backpack. The first is about the milk program and the second is about our classroom blog and different ways to access it.

**If you have not done so already, please send indoor shoes that can stay at school. Velcro is better than lace up shoes unless I am very quick and can lace up my shoes independently.

Today we read a book called "First Day Jitters" and did some writing. Ask me what I wrote about?

We met Mrs. McDonald's class and went outside with them for recess and afternoon gym time. Ask me if I have any friends in her class?

In math we worked on making math covers for our math journals. Ask me what numbers are important to me and why?

We learned about our classroom jobs today. Ask me if I have one and what it is if I do?

Today we did a game where we learned about different things that our classmates like to do for fun.

**For tomorrow please think about what kinds of rules you think are important in order for our class to run smoothly and for everyone to feel and demonstrate belonging, independence, mastery and generosity.
