Student-Centered Conferences

Dear Parents,

Our student-centered conferences have been set up, and will open for you to book interviews this Wednesday, September 14th starting at 8:00 a.m.  

Please book your 15 minute time slot! I look forward to meeting you and having the opportunity to discuss your perspectives with regard to your child and their learning. We will be sending a set of questions home for you to fill out and bring to the interview to help guide our discussion. The website is listed below:

Hello Students and Parents! 

By now you have all had the ADmazing Saving Ticket Pack order forms come home. Please ask your family, neighbours, relatives, etc if they are interested in purchasing a coupon book. 

We would like all order sheets back in by Sept 22, 2016 at the latest. Cheques can be made payable to: Royal Oak School Fundraising Society or ROSFS

Today we finished our self-portraits and worked on our skin colors.

Today we had Mrs. Wong come in for a quick visit and we started reading the book "The Day the Crayons Quit". Ask me what it was about?

We did some writing using our imagination from a book we read called "Use your imagination but Be Careful What you wish for". Ask me what I did in my imagination when I pretended to be rabbit?it?

We practiced read to self again and worked on reading the whole time and using our inside voices so that Mrs. Lagrana can read with students or work with groups. We practiced improving our independence.

Today we had music. We practiced making noise and beats with our body to a musical story.
