Tuesday February 14th, 2017

Reminder: There will be no school Thursday and Friday due to Teachers Convention and No School Monday February 20th due to Family Day.

Tomorrow we are so excited to have our last day on Alien-In-Line Skating from 11:05-11:50. We are also anticipating much fun learning how to carve a soapstone polar bear with Teacher's Pet.

Happy Valentine's Day! Thank you for all the wonderful Valentine wishes. We were very excited to exchange cards today.

Today we had a visit from Constable Johnson. He taught us about being special and not caring what others think about but knowing that we are wonderful just the way we are. We read a book called You are Special by Max Lucado. We traced our footprints with a partner and we had to write 3 I will Statements on each footprint. We are going to create a pathway on one of our classroom walls to show our footprints of being a kind and caring person.

Below is the video link if you would like to read/listen to the story again.
